Woodland Hills, California, February 20, 2008 - Touch Medix, LLC, is pleased to announce the appointments of Jim Hasbrouck to the position of Director of Sales and Jody Fitts, RN, to the position of Senior Consultant, for the Touch ED software product lines. Both have many years of experience in the emergency department and healthcare environment, specifically in the EDIS environment.

As Director of Sales, Jim Hasbrouck will be responsible for the expansion of the customer network, delivering corporate sales goals and broadening the sales team to advance the focus of Touch Medix to become the predominate EDIS vendor.

Jim has over 15 years experience in the sales management and sale of medical charting and business software for emergency departments, radiologist, physician practices, surgery centers, hospitals, government medical facilities, and HMO/PPO organizations. While with Kurzweil, Dragon, Source Medical and Quest Software, Jim received various individual and territory awards for sales performance. For the past year Jim has consulted with Touch Medix management as we positioned our EDIS software, Touch ED, in the marketplace.

As Senior Consultant, Jody Fitts, RN, will work closely with sales and be a liaison for nursing to further enhance the design and development of our Touch Medix EDIS software products.

Jody has been an RN for over 15 years and has over eight years experience in the EDIS market as a lead clinical designer and Clinical Sales Specialist. He has first-hand knowledge of emergency department information systems development and has been responsible for cutting edge and award winning design in all aspects of EDIS from nursing documentation to bedside computerized physician order entry.

The appointments will further expand the company’s scope of its sales and the development of its EDIS products, including Touch ED that covers all areas of managing patient care in the emergency department.
